How to get to Matelica
By car
1. From the north, you can get to Matelica, driving along the A14 motorway as far as Ancona Nord exit. Then get onto the SS76 clearway towards Fabriano and proceed along the SP 256 highway towards Matelica.
2. From the south, you can reach Matelica, driving along the A14 motorway as far as Civitanova exit. Get onto the SP361 highway towards Macerata and proceed to Matelica, passing through the town of San Severino Marche.
3. From Rome or Umbria: get onto the Flaminia highway as far as Fossato di Vico and then drive on towards Matelica.
By plane
From Ancona-Falconara airport, drive along the SS76 clearway towards Fabriano-Rome. Leave the clearway at the exit of Albacina and then get onto the SP256 highway and go on towards Matelica.
By train
From the north and the south of Italy, get off at Civitanova or Falconara Marittima railway station. There you will find trains leaving to Matelica.From Rome, get off at Fabriano where you can catch one of the trains bound for Matelica.
